What is the cheapest car parking at Stansted Airport?

Located just one mile from the terminal, transfers take less than five minutes. All you need to do is drop your keys at the reception and a fully insured driver will park your vehicle for you, while you hop on the shuttle bus.

These car parks are located within the airport perimeter. Generally, these are close to the terminal, but some may still require a bus transfer.

If your space is within walking distance of the terminal, you simply park up, take your luggage and make your way to check-in. However, if you don't have walking access to the terminal, you take your luggage and hop on the transfer bus.

What is the Park Mark Safer Parking Award?
The Park Mark Safer Parking Award is a Police Crime Prevention Initiative designed to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks across the UK. The Park Mark Safer Parking Award is only given to car parks that meet certain security, maintenance and management standards.

Can I amend my Gatwick Airport parking booking?
You may be able to amend your booking with us. Please get in touch with our customer services team or fill in the amend or cancel my booking form to request changes. Some parking bookings (like the Non-Flexible, Supersaver or Advanced Purchase car parking) can't be cancelled or amended as they are discount rate bookings. So, it's important to check the terms and conditions before you book. For further information, head to our help page. Can I pick up and drop off at Stansted Airport?
With the introduction of dropping off and picking up charges at the Express Set Down Zone in November 2020, you may prefer to use the Short Stay car park as the charges are cheaper. Just head for the Orange or Green Zones.

Where can I park if I haven't pre-booked?
If you didn't pre-book your Stansted Airport car parking, limited spaces are available in the Orange, Yellow and Green Zones of the Short Stay car park. Likewise, the Mid Stay car park accepts vehicles that turn up on the day but spaces are limited.

Is there free disabled parking at Stansted?
Blue Badge parking bays are available in the Short Stay car parks, in the Orange and Green Zones, as well as in the Mid Stay and Long Stay car parks. Assistance is provided in the APH car park, which is a Park & Ride, or you may wish to book a Meet & Greet valet service.

For dropping off passengers, are there dedicated Blue Badge spaces?
For dropping off passengers, there are dedicated Blue Badge spaces at the front of the Express Set Down zone, which costs £7 for up to 15 minutes. Payment is by card or exact change. Vehicles must not be left unattended at any time and returning within half an hour isn't permitted.

What happens if I arrive earlier or later than planned?
You'll typically be able to arrive earlier than expected, but we recommend contacting the provider as soon as you can if you anticipate being delayed. Please note, some car parks charge fees for late returns.

Located halfway between London and Cambridge, Stansted Airport is just off the M11 and five miles from Bishop’s Stortford. If you're travelling from London and the South, exit at Junction 8a. Alternatively, if you're coming from Cambridge and the North, exit at Junction 8, then follow the signs to the airport.
