The Long Stay car park appears three times in the booking engine because the airport sells it on three different tariffs - a holiday rate from £89.00, a business rate from £112.00 and a short stay rate from £116.00. If you are going away for a week or more, the holiday rate is the one you want. The booking engine will show you all three; they are the same car park.
Which Liverpool car park should you book?
Liverpool Airport Long Stay Car Park - the cheapest way to park at the airport
Operated by Liverpool John Lennon Airport and sitting inside the airport boundary, this is the lowest price of the four and the shortest walk of the self-park options at around 4 minutes. You drive in, park yourself, keep your keys, and walk to check-in. Security is the airport's own: round-the-clock monitoring and patrols within the airport perimeter.
Best for: holidaymakers away for a week or more who want the lowest price and do not mind a short walk with luggage.

Imagine Park & Stroll - walk in, no shuttle, no transfer
Imagine is just outside the airport boundary and, like the Long Stay, you park your own car and keep your keys. There is no bus and no transfer to wait for, which is the main reason people choose it over a traditional park and ride.
Honest note on the walk: Imagine advertises around 4 minutes, and most customers report 4 to 5 minutes. A minority report longer - one recent reviewer put it at 10 to 15 minutes. If you are travelling with small children, heavy cases or limited mobility, plan for nearer 10 minutes than 4. Several customers mention doing the walk comfortably in the early hours.
The car park is fully fenced and floodlit, with 24-hour CCTV coverage. Note which row you park in before you leave - it is the single most common thing returning customers say they wish they had done.
Best for: travellers who want to avoid a transfer bus entirely and are happy to walk a few minutes.

Imagine Meet & Greet - hand the keys over at the terminal
Drive to the terminal, hand your keys to a driver, and walk straight in. Your car is taken away and parked for you, and brought back to you when you land. At 2 to 3 minutes from the drop-off point to the terminal door, it is the shortest walk of the four, and the highest price.
Best for: early starts, late returns, anyone travelling with young children or a lot of luggage, and business travellers who are counting minutes rather than pounds.

Who actually parks your car
APH is a booking agent at Liverpool. We take your booking, hold your money, and handle amendments and refunds. The car parks themselves are run by other people: the Long Stay Car Park is operated by Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and Park & Stroll and Meet & Greet are operated by Imagine.
In practice, that means your booking confirmation comes from APH and should be your first point of contact if something is wrong with the booking itself, while anything happening on the day at the car park - access, your vehicle, a problem at handover - is dealt with by the operator on site. Each operator's terms are shown on its booking page before you pay.

Dropping off instead of parking?
If you are not flying yourself, parking may not be the cheapest option. Liverpool charges for the Express Set Down area directly outside the terminal, and the Mid Stay car park is free for a short stay with a shuttle to the door. For a quick goodbye the free hour in Mid Stay is usually the sensible choice; for anything longer, a pre-booked car park quickly works out cheaper than paying by the hour at the terminal.
