Important Information

It is important to call Drivefly if you are running early or late. On your return there is a fee of £1 to exit the drop off airport. The maximum stay is 10 minutes. If you go over the 10 minutes maximum stay you will be required to pay the additional fee to exit the car park.

On booking this service, you will need to provide the following information: Inbound & outbound flight numbers, airport terminals, car details and contact telephone number (preferably a mobile number).

Arrival procedure

Upon arrival at the car park:

  • Call 0121 647 3683 / 07935 209 700 when you are 15-20 minutes away from the terminal.
  • On arrival at the airport, follow signs for ‘Valet Parking’.
  • Enter the ‘Valet Parking’ car park, which is located next to Car Park 3.
  • Take a ticket from the barrier and hand this to your driver.
  • Once you’ve entered, park in one of the following bays: 25,26,27,39,40,41,42
  • You’ll be greeted by a uniformed Drivefly chauffeur

Return procedure

When you return to the car park:

  • Please call us on 0121 647 3683 / 07935 209 700 once you have collected your luggage.
  • In case of any delays please let us know.
  • Our chauffeur will deliver your vehicle to the agreed pick-up point at the airport.

There was quite a delay when we returned to pick up the car. We phoned as instructed when we had all our luggage and were told 15 - 20 minutes but it was longer than this over 30 mins (and not helped by the fact it was pouring with rain).

With Drivefly you still have to telephone them when close to confirm your arrival time, which is always a pain as there is never anywhere convenient to park between 20 - 30 minutes away. Also it is up to you to find their representatives in the car park as they do not use the office at the valet parking area. This worked OK this time but could be problematical in the future if they are busy. Overall quite convenient though and as good as you are going to get in the current Birmingham Airport building site.

Unfortunately the meet and greet area has been changed and it is much further away from the terminal

There is no recognised path and it is quite not easy to find lowered pavements. When pulling a suit case this is not easy
