Iceland awaits the adventurous…

Feeling adventurous and looking for a more action packed Valentine’s trip? Iceland is not only spectacularly beautiful, it also offers all the excitement you could want from a mini break.

It’s time to head out of town in search of natural phenomena, so dig out your warmest clothes and be prepared to watch the sky light up as you witness Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. Best viewed before March, this spectacular sight will take your breath away.

After a night of star gazing, what could be better than a dip in a geo thermal pool? The mineral rich waters of The Blue Lagoon are a toasty 38 degrees and milky blue in colour; said to do wonders for your skin, sinking into the soothing water with your better half makes for the perfect end to your trip.

Picturesque Funchal; the heart of Madeira
