Additional Information

The car park accepts most standard cars (excluding trailers, commercial vehicles, or large vehicles) as long as they meet the height requirement of fitting under the 2.1m barrier and can fit comfortably within a standard-size parking bay measuring 2.4m x 4.8m.

Early or late? For early or late arrivals, the car park provides a grace period until midnight, depending on their discretion. If you exceed this time frame, you will be subject to the car park's standard rate, which is currently £20 per day but is subject to change.

If you have a substantial amount of luggage, please allocate sufficient time as you may need to wait for a bus with additional space. Keep in mind that the bus is unable to accommodate large sporting equipment. We suggest dropping off such items with your passengers at the terminal before driving to the car park.

Please note that ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport may result in extended travel times for buses to and from the airport. It is advisable to allow an extra hour for your transfer, especially during peak times.

Directions

From the North & South via M1:
1. Leave the M1 at junction 10.
2. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit if you're coming from the South and the 1st exit if you're coming from the North onto the A1081 Airport Way.
3. Continue on the A1081, signposted Hitchin, Luton (S) & Airport.
4. Once you have passed through the traffic lights move into the right hand lane, following the signs for Hitchin A505.
5. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Hitchin A505 on to Vauxhall Way.
6. At the next roundabout (Eaton Green Roundabout), take the 4th exit. You will see the Airparks ShortRun entrance.

From the East via A1:
1. Leave the A1(M) at junction 8 follow the A602 towards Hitchin.
2. In Hitchin follow signs for the A505 into Luton and the Airport.
3. At Eaton Green Roundabout, take the second exit, signposted Airparks ShortRun.

Arrival Procedure

Drive through the gate and follow the signs to the check in lane, you can stay in your car. One of the ShortRun team will come to your window to confirm your details. They'll tell you where to park and give you a receipt with information on what to do when you get back from holiday. Make sure you keep this safe.

Once you've parked, head to the bus stop and the bus will drop you off at the airport. The bus runs when needed 24 hours a day, takes about 4 minutes and is included in the price.

Return Procedure

When you return, leave the terminal following signs for Bus Bay R and look out for a bus with 'ShortRun' written on the destination board. The driver will scan the receipt you were given when you parked your car and take you back to the car park.

If you lose your ticket, you'll need to answer some security questions and show photo ID, so make sure you have one with you.
