Directions

Exit the M25, take exit 29 for the A127 towards Southend. You will then be able to follow the ✈︎ signs as you approach the airport and Southend from the A127. Follow signs for Short Stay car park.

Arrival instructions

 

  1. Call 01702 888177 (option 1) when you are 15 minutes from Southend Airport (SS2 6YF).
  2. If you do not have sat nav, call once you pass the Basildon turnoff on the A127 towards Southend, or if travelling via the A130, call when leaving the A130 to join the A127.
  3. Ensure you call before entering the airport. Failure to do so may result in a £6 exit fee. Do not stop on roads around the airport, as this may incur a £100 fine. Pull over outside airport grounds and call before proceeding to the Short Stay car park.
  4. Call ahead if you are running early or late so staff can arrange assistance accordingly.
  5. On arrival, drive into the Short Stay Car Park on your right, opposite the terminal. A member of staff wearing a Hi Vis with company logo and ID badge will meet you and complete the necessary paperwork.

Return instructions

 

  1. Once you have collected your luggage and exited the terminal, call 01702 888177 (option 1). The team will advise you of the pickup arrangements based on current security conditions.
  2. In most cases, your vehicle will be returned to the Short Stay Car Park where the driver will be waiting for you.
  3. Only call once you are leaving the terminal. Once your vehicle is in the Short Stay Car Park, you will have 5 to 10 minutes to exit. After this time, a £6 charge will apply.
  4. Diamond Parking monitor incoming flights. If you experience delays in baggage reclaim, call the same number as soon as possible so arrangements can be adjusted.

  • Charger is a 7.4kW untethered unit compatible with Type 1 and Type 2 vehicles

Vehicle restrictions
