Directions

From the M60 anti-clockwise:

  1. Exit at Junction 5 and then leave at the second junction signed A560.
  2. At the roundabout turn left – signed Sharston.
  3. Go straight on at the next roundabout and left at the following roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.  

From the M60 clockwise:

  1. Exit at Junction 4 onto the M56.
  2. Exit at Junction 2 signed Wythenshawe.
  3. Go right at the roundabout into the Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

M6 Cheshire:

  1. Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A signed A560.
  2. Turn right into A560 and go straight over the next roundabout.
  3. Left at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
  4. Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

Arrival instructions

Arriving at APH Park & Ride with EV Charging couldn’t be easier:

  1. At the entrance to the car park, wait for the barrier to open automatically.
  2. Drive into one of the marked arrival bays.
  3. Unload your luggage and check in at Reception. Your vehicle will be charged to the amount you have pre-purchased only and then moved to a secure parking bay by a fully trained and insured driver.
  4. Take the next transfer bus to the airport terminal.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and transfer to the terminal. You do not need to allow time for your vehicle to be charged; this will be done for you while you head to check in for your flight.

Return instructions

Returning to collect your car is just as easy:

  1. Once you have landed back at Manchester, call or text us.
  2. Follow the signs to the marked APH bus stops just outside the terminal.
  3. Take the next transfer bus back to the APH car park.
  4. Collect your keys from Reception and pick up your car, which will have been charged for you.

There are staff on hand 24 hours a day, if you need any assistance.

Luggage Restrictions

Please note that APH transfer coaches cannot carry:

  • Bicycles

  • Surfboards or windsurfing boards

  • Other large or bulky items of a similar size

Snowboards and skis are permitted.

Disabled facilities

Staff are on hand to assist with loading and unloading luggage onto the shuttle buses. A disabled toilet is available on-site, and all shuttle buses are wheelchair accessible. If you need extra help on arrival, just speak to a member of the team.

Transfer details

Transfers to Manchester Airport from the car park take around 10 minutes and operate 24 hours a day running every 15 minutes.

Please allow extra time due to airport roadway congestion. 

Vehicle restrictions

Vehicle size limits apply, The maximum vehicle height is 2.4 metres.

Vehicles over 5 metres in length that do not fit within a standard parking space will incur a £20 surcharge.
