Directions

Coming from the North (M1 Southbound):

Leave the M1 at junction 10. ­At the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081. ­Keep in the left-hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081. ­You'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road. ­At the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081. Continue on the A1081 for approx ¾ of a mile before turning right on to Half Moon Lane, signposted Slip End. Continue along Half Moon Lane, which becomes Front Street and into Slip End. ­At the traffic lights, go straight on into Grove Road. ­Take the first left onto the service road sign posted Airparks ­Airparks will be on the right after about 100 metres.

Coming from the South (M1 Northbound):

­Leave the M1 at junction 9. ­At the roundabout at the end of the slip road, take the 1st exit onto A5183 Dunstable. Continue on A5183 for approximately 2 miles and at the traffic lights turn right onto B4540 (Luton Road towards Luton). Continue on B4540 for approximately 1.5 miles into Slip End village and at the traffic lights turn left onto Grove Road. ­Take the first left onto the service road sign posted Airparks. ­Airparks will be on the right after about 100 metres.

We recommend taking these directions into account, but if you choose to use a sat nav to get to the car park make sure you use the full address.

From the M1:

  1. Exit M1 at Junction 10.
  2. Take the first slip road to the left signed Airport Way A1081.
  3. Take the first exit at the roundabout signed St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
  4. You'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
  5. Go through the tunnel taking the second exit at the roundabout for the St. Albans, Harpenden  A1081.
  6. After 100 metres turn right Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.
  7. Afte half a mile turn left B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate. and at the traffic lights turn right onto Grove Road.
  8. Take the first left onto the service road, Airparks is on the right.

Arrival instructions

 

  1. Drive to the car photo booth so your vehicle can be scanned for reference and protection.
  2. Park in the arrivals lane and check in using one of the self service machines.
  3. Collect your ticket for your return and attach the provided tag to your keys.
  4. Drop your tagged keys into the key drop box outside reception, making sure they go into the box that matches your lane number.
  5. Take the shuttle bus to the terminal.

Return instructions

  1. On return catch the shuttle bus back to the car park - you'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
  2. Head to the check-out shelter, which will return your keys and tell you the location where your charged vehicle is parked.
  3. On your way out just insert your ticket into the exit barrier and wait for it to lift.

  • If your parking ticket is lost during your trip, valid photo ID must be shown on return (ID required so staff can confirm your identity for security purposes)

Security

APH Luton runs a tight security operation to make sure that people know their vehicle has been left in safe hands. They have CCTV to monitor the car park day and night, as well as a team of 24-hour staff who patrol the vicinity. The car park itself is surrounded by high-security fencing, and cars are let in and out of the car park using electronic barriers, so only registered cars are allowed into the premises.

Transfer details

Transfers run every 20 minutes between 04:00 and 23:00 - A shuttle can be arranged outside these hours upon request.

Vehicle restrictions

  • Maximum vehicle height 2 metres

  • Transit vans, minibuses, motorhomes, caravans and trailers not accepted

  • Vehicles with taxi licence plates not accepted, these can only be driven by the licence holder

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
