Directions

Park Smart Liverpool Airport is an on-airport car park, located just off the A561 near the terminal. It’s well signposted from the main approach roads and the airport roundabout.

From the North / North-East:

  1. Take the M6 southbound to junction 21A and join the M62 westbound (follow signs for Liverpool).
  2. Continue on the M62 to junction 6.
  3. Join the A5300, then follow signs for the A561 towards Liverpool Airport.
  4. The airport is located off Speke Hall Avenue.
  5. Follow signs for Park Smart at the roundabout near the terminal.

From the South / East:

  1. Take the M6 northbound to junction 20 and join the M56.
  2. Continue on the M56 to junction 12.
  3. Follow the A557/A562 via the Runcorn Bridge to merge with the A561.
  4. Follow signs to Liverpool Airport, situated off Speke Hall Avenue.
  5. Follow signs for Park Smart near the terminal roundabout.

From the Wirral / North Wales:

  1. From the Wirral, take the M53 and then the M56 eastbound (this is often quicker than going through Liverpool city centre via the Mersey Tunnels).
  2. From North Wales, take the A55 to join the M56 eastbound and follow directions as above from the East.
  3. Once you approach the airport terminal, follow signs to Park Smart by turning right at the roundabout.

Arrival instructions

When you arrive at Park Smart Liverpool Airport:

  1. Drive up to the entry barrier.
  2. The automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system will read your registration.
  3. A ticket will be issued, and the barrier will lift automatically.
  4. If the barrier does not lift, press the help button and provide your booking reference (APH-XXXXX).
  5. Park in any available bay and keep your keys with you.
  6. Walk to the terminal - approximately a 5-minute walk.

Return instructions

When you return from your trip:

  1. Walk back to the car park from the terminal.
  2. Drive to the exit barrier.
  3. Insert your ticket – the barrier will lift automatically.

If you experience any issues, use the intercom for assistance.

Important information

Lost Ticket Procedure: If you lose your parking ticket while away, you will need to show photo ID to staff to verify your identity before exiting the car park.

Park Smart Liverpool Airport offers strong security measures for peace of mind:

  • 24-hour on-site staff for assistance and regular patrols
  • CCTV monitoring throughout the car park
  • Floodlit areas for improved visibility at night
  • Barrier-controlled entry and exit
  • Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) to monitor all vehicles entering and leaving

Only authorised vehicles can access the site, ensuring a secure environment for your car during your trip.

Disabled facilities

Please note that Park Smart Liverpool Airport does not provide disabled parking bays or facilities.

If you require accessible parking, it is recommended to use either the Long Stay or Multi-Storey car parks at Liverpool Airport. These car parks offer:

  • Disabled spaces (available on a first-come, first-served basis; cannot be reserved)
  • A Blue Badge replacement scheme, allowing you to take your badge with you while travelling

Vehicle restrictions

  • Commercial vehicles, trailers, and buses/coaches are not permitted.
  • Standard cars and vans are allowed, provided they fit within a marked space.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Flexible booking option offers you the convenience and flexibility you need. Here’s how it works:
    1. Need to Change Your Plans?
      • You can cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your parking period begins without any charges.
    2. Parking Period:
      • Your parking period starts at 12:01 AM on the first day of your booked dates, regardless of your pre-booked arrival time.
    3. Important to Note:
      • If you don’t cancel or update your booking at least 24 hours before your parking period begins, we’ll need to charge you for the full booking. Also, please be aware that we can’t offer refunds if you return earlier than planned.
    4. Booking Adjustments:
      • If you make changes to your booking and the price changes, we’ll either charge or refund the difference based on your adjustments.
