Directions

  1. Exit the M1 or A42 onto the A453.
  2. Follow the road until you reach the main entrance to the airport.
  3. Turn right into the airport. At the roundabout take your first exit. At the second and third roundabout, go straight on.
  4. The entrance to Mid Stay 2 will be on your left.

Arrival instructions

Using Mid-Stay 2 is fast and easy to negotiate:

  1. Mid Stay is a popular choice with limited availability, so book your parking in advance to reserve your space.
  2. On the day, simply drive up to the car park barrier, and our ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system will recognise your car's number plate and open the barrier. There's no need to take a token.
  3. Find a space and park up, then walk to the terminal. There's no need to wait for a bus.
  4. On your return, walk back to the car park and find your car right where you left it. When you drive up to the barrier it'll recognise your number plate again and you can drive away.

Please ensure you allow time to park your car and make your way into the airport terminal.

Return instructions

Collecting your car is just as quick:

  1. Walk back to the car park.
  2. Locate your car.
  3. Drive to the exit barrier.

  • Standard cars must fit within a 2.4 m by 4.8 m bay and be under 2.10 m in height.

  • Motorhomes, camper vans, lorries, caravans, trailers and oversized vehicles are not permitted.
