When you leave your vehicle behind before a trip overseas, there’s no need to worry about how secure it will be in your absence. Short Stay 3 combines a number of security measures to ensure that all vehicles are protected at all times. For example, it’s not possible to enter the vicinity unless your vehicle is registered beforehand. The electronic barriers will only lift if your number plate is known to them, thanks to ANPR technology. On top of this, the premises are watched by CCTV cameras, to monitor all activity on-site.
For those who have a Blue Badge permit, there are disability parking spaces available. These are clearly signposted and are located next to the customer entrance and exit to make life as easy as possible before your flight. However, these are limited and subject to a first-come-first-serve policy.
Standard cars must fit within a 2.4m x 4.8m parking bay.
Motorhomes, camper vans, lorries, caravans, trailers and oversized vehicles are not permitted.
A grace period of up to 6 hours is allowed. After this, an overstay charge of £20.00 per day applies.
