APH Manchester is just a few minutes from both the M56 and M60 so it’s ideally located for the transfer to the airport. The shuttle transfer service runs frequently day and night so you’re never more than 30 minutes from the terminal, whatever time you arrive.

There’s nothing to worry about from a security point of view either. The car park is manned 24 hours a day, has CCTV and is a holder of the police approved Park Mark Safer Parking award so you know that once you’ve parked your car, we’ll be there to look after it for you.

Transfers to and from Manchester Airport

Transfers from the car park to the airport take approximately 10 minutes and run to all terminals. They run 24 hours a day and leave the car park every 15 minutes on average.

Disabled Facilities

If you require any help with loading or unloading bags onto buses, our friendly staff will be happy to help. Our APH buses are also wheelchair friendly and there’s a disabled toilet located in the car park reception.

There will be a £20 charge for vehicles over 5m that do not fit in a standard parking space.

APH are unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Snowboards/skis are acceptable.

Directions

From the M60 anti-clockwise:

Exit at Junction 5 and then leave at the second junction signed A560.
Turn left at the roundabout – signed Sharston.
Go straight on at the next roundabout and left at the following roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

From the M60 clockwise:

Exit at Junction 4 onto the M56.
Exit at Junction 2 signed Wythenshawe.
Go right at the roundabout into the Sharston Industrial Estate.
Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

M6 Cheshire:

Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A signed A560.
Turn right into A560 and go straight over the next roundabout.
Left at the next roundabout into Sharston Industrial Estate.
Take the first left and the car park is on the right at the very end of the road.

Arrival Procedure

Using APH Self Park is easy:

Drive up to the barrier and wait for it to open automatically.
Drive into one of the marked arrival bays and unload your luggage. A member of check-in staff will direct you to the Self Park area
Once you've parked your car, jump onto the transfer bus and keep your keys with you.

Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and airport transfer.

Return Procedure

Picking up your car is just as easy:

Once you return to Manchester Airport, head to the marked APH bus stop just outside the terminal.
Take the transfer ride back to the car park.
Head to reception, get the barrier exit code and have a safe journey home.
