Yet again, my speedy exit was prevented by the car park barrier at the exit not recognising my booking. Queue 10 to 15 min talking to parking staff. This has happened every time. Why!?!

When I arrived at ABZ short stay the ANPR did not recognise my number plate so I pressed the button for assistance, was told to park and then come and see customer services. As I was new to this I thought customer services were in the airport only to be told no they're back in the car park. Then when I did get to customer services I was told they can do nothing until I'm ready to leave the car park, make sense, but I wish they could have said that before I spent 15 minutes running around trying to find them. I returned from my trip and challenged customer services why the ANPR didn't work and was told that non of the APH bookings work as they do not pass on the details. This would be a fantastic service if there were some communication with the airport. I would probably use the service again, but would allow lots more time to park to compensate for the issues.

My ticket did not let me leave and I had to call car park attendance to get my booking validated so they could let me out. My name was not on their system but my reference number was. However, the ticket should have been suitable to open the barrier without having to call staff. This is a glitch in the process that requires improving.
