  1. From Glasgow, exit the M8 at J28 At first roundabout stay in the left hand lane
  2. At the second roundabout stay in the left hand lane and follow the one way system towards the Holiday Inn hotel As you pass the Holiday Inn hotel
  3. The entrance to Car Park 2 (Short Stay 2) is on your left
  4. From St James Interchange, take the exit for Glasgow Airport turn left onto the one way system and follow the one way system towards the Holiday Inn hotel
  5. As you pass the Holiday Inn hotel, the entrance to Car Park 2 (Short Stay 2) is on your left

Arrival instructions

  1. On arrival, the ANPR cameras will automatically recognise your vehicle registration at the entry barrier and generate a parking ticket. Please take the ticket from the machine.
  2. Once the barrier lifts, proceed into the car park and park in the first available space.
  3. If a ticket is not issued automatically, press the intercom help button on the barrier and speak to an operator for assistance. Please do not press the button to request a ticket.

Take the ticket with you and do not leave it in your vehicle.

Return instructions

  1. On return, drive directly to the exit barrier and insert your parking ticket. The ANPR cameras will recognise your vehicle registration and booking reference and allow you to exit, unless you have an overstay payment or requested a ticket on entry.
  2. If you have an overstay payment, this can be paid at the exit barrier using a credit or debit card.

If you need assistance at any point, press the intercom help button on the barrier to speak to an operator who will be happy to help.

Security

Enjoy peace of mind when your car is parked with Glasgow Airport Short Stay Parking. Staffed 24 hours a day, the car park is monitored by CCTV, is barrier-controlled and operates an ANPR system. 

Vehicle restrictions

  • Vehicles must fit within a standard bay measuring 2.4m x 4.8m and be under 2.2m in height.

  • Only standard cars are permitted at Short Stay Car Park 2.

  • Trailers, motorhomes, camper vans, lorries, caravans and oversized vehicles are not accepted.

  • A 2-hour grace period is allowed beyond your booked exit time.

  • Overstay charges apply after this period and are charged at the car park’s standard daily rate.
