Directions

To reach the Airparks Self Park facility near Gatwick Airport, follow these step-by-step directions from the M23:

From the M23:

  1. Exit at Junction 10 (signposted East Grinstead)

If you're heading southbound:

  1. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A264 - Copthorne Way

If you're heading northbound:

  1. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the A264 - Copthorne Way

Then:

  1. Continue straight over the first roundabout (2nd exit)
  2. At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A2220, signposted Maidenbower
  3. Continue on the A2220, following signs for APH Parking Centre
  4. Drive past the Texaco Petrol Station (note: some SatNavs may direct you here)
  5. After approximately 0.25 miles, turn right into Crawley Garden Centre - look out for the APH entrance sign on your right
  6. Follow the APH signs to reach the car park check-in area

Arrival instructions

  1. When using Airparks Self Park at Gatwick Airport:

  2. Drive up to the automated barrier - it will lift automatically

  3. Follow the road markings to the arrival bays

  4. Unload your luggage

  5. Go into reception, where a member of staff will direct you to a parking space

  6. Park your car and keep your keys

  7. Catch the courtesy transfer bus to Gatwick Airport terminals - buses run every 10-15 minutes and the journey takes around 10-12 minutes

 

Tip: Allow extra time for check-in and transfer to the airport, especially during peak travel periods.

Return instructions

When you return to Gatwick Airport:

  1. Make your way to the Airparks bus stop just outside the terminal

  2. Board the return shuttle bus back to the car park

  3. Go into reception to get your exit code for the barrier

  4. Return to your car and enter the code to exit the car park

  5. The car park is staffed 24/7 and fully secured with CCTV and controlled access.

Important information

Vehicle size and licence:
The car park accepts any vehicle that fits in a standard parking bay and can be driven with a standard UK driving licence.

Transfer coach restrictions:
Bikes, surfboards, windsurf boards, and similarly large items cannot be transported.
Snowboards and skis are allowed.

This service is operated by APH Gatwick.

Transfer details

  1. Shuttle buses run every 10-15 minutes, Journey time is approx 10 minutes. 
  2. Transfers usually go to the South Terminal first, followed by the North Terminal, and then return to the car park.
  3. Services run 24/7, including overnight.
