good service, reasonable cost; would like drop off/collect place to be nearer the terminal. would like the option of having a trolley waiting at drop off and your staff to help with bags. staff could have a smarter uniform. you do meet and greet to be spoilt; why not indulge your customers. it would generate increased repeat business
I was very disappointed when I arrived at the car park at the start of our holiday to be told that you have to catch the mono rail on return to get your car. In my opinion meet and greet is that when you come out of the airport after your return flight, your car is there you shouldn't have to catch the monorail. Surely meet and greet means meet your car outside the airport main doors. I don't see why you have to pay extra for this service when your cR is jot outside the airport doors. APH do not have the decency to tell you his when you make your booking you are told when you drop off your car and there isn't a lot you can do about it then.
It was a pity that the driver felt the need to try out so many of my car's features. I'm not sure why there was the need to have the both driver and passenger seat air conditioning turned on or why the radio reuired to be retuned. Disappointing.
I have always used the aph car park and used the courtesy bus to the Birmingham airport. I used APH meet and greet at Stansted and found it very good so I thought I would do likewise at Birmingham, big disappointment. I called to say I was leaving the hotel at Marsden at 05.45 at 06.05 I called to say I was there at the train station waiting and was told a driver was on the way at 06.20 I made my 5th call to find out where the driver was and again told he was on his way. When the driver arrived about 06.30 he said he had began his shift at 06.00 and had to wait for the courtesy bus to bring him to the station. The annoying thing was that we could have gone to the APH car park and arrived at the terminal much earlier and not having to drag our luggage as far as having to use the shuttle from the station. The result of this delay was that we were at the rear of the airline check in and by the time we got through security the 08.15 plane was boarding and there was no time to get the things we wanted at the duty free. I initially booked parking only and paid extra for meet and greet for convenience. I always use APH and have never had cause for complaint, sadly the meet and greet is at Birmingham is not a patch on the Stansted service. I certainly will not repeat the experience and would not recommend it to anyone.
