Found the car park fairly easily drop off was simple although car park surface not good for disabled people as my husband is, also poorly lit
On returning i called the number as requested, man on phone very pleasant and helpful, told to wait at area C outside where mini bus would arrive, mini bus arrived and couldnt get into area C due to parked cars, which is fair enough but it would have been nice had the driver walked over the to stated area and said he was there and have the "correct" name of who he was picking up, rather than assuming i would know this information!! i asked if he was collecting Hearn for APH he said a different name and no reply to me that yes it was on behalf of APH (i know now this is not an APH car park) had to walk back over road to get my suitcases and assist my husband who uses a stick and get back over the road to the minibus, collecting key was simple but rather abrupt, not sure i would consider using again, ALSO why was my dash cam be disconnected?

Process was simple. Drive into the shed, for photos of your car, park up and drop the keys in the office. Our car was waiting by the office on our return. Exactly what we hoped for. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The bus ride to the terminal was only a few minutes.

***For Customers who expect the standards of APH Manchester and APH Gatwick in particular, DO NOT USE as this is NOT an APH car park***

I say this as, when booking it is not made clear that, when booking through the APH website to use ‘APH Stansted’, which has the APH logo on the front of the car park, that this has nothing to do with APH. This is a car park operated and owned by ‘I Love Meet and Greet Stansted’. If I had known this and looked at their reviews, I would not have used them and after this experience I will never be using them again.

So where to begin! If you are used to the high standards of actual APH car parks, then you will share my frustration. When you arrive there is no garage with 360 degree CCTV with HD lighting to capture the condition of your car on arrival. Instead there is a metal gate. On entrance instead of a well lit organised car park with drop off lanes, there is a really poor condition unsurfaced dirty gravel car park with one drop off lane, and no lighting at all. Good luck being able to take any photographs of your cars condition prior to drop off if it is dark. Lastly you drop your keys off in the Portakabin before getting on a VW transporter, instead of the modern busses.

Anyway, a week later I return to collect my car.

I ring the number as requested and the mini bus arrives after a short period of time, which is no issues. We then have to wait another 15/20 minutes for other customers and for an employee to arrive. It seemed that they were trying to make sure all seats were full before driving back. Again, if there were no other issues I would not have been too bothered.

I return to collect my keys and the night staff behind the desk were pleasant.

I checked over my car which had been detailed and ceramic coated only a few weeks before. It had also been cleaned before driving to this car park so was near immaculate in its condition. When checking the car over for damage as per the ‘I Love Meet and Greet’ terms and conditions the mini bus driver approached me and asked if I was okay. This was not in a helpful manner I must add.

Again checking for damage in the very poorly lit car park was difficult.

I have noticed damage to the car as pictured below. I have notified the staff on the desk who were again very understanding and helpful. They have pictured the damage and have explained how to make a complaint. This complaint was to I Love Meet and Greet (ILMAG) which is funny when I had booked to stay in the APH car park…

Once I started checking my car again for further damage the same mini bus driver looked over at me obviously knowing about the complaint shaking his head.

This is sadly where the real trouble began. I found more damage once I had returned home in the light, and there was scuff damage all to the front near side part of the car.

I have reviewed my Dash Camera also. This showed my car was moved from the car park to a place called Endeavour House. This is a block of offices, with a Park Mark awarded car park (how they got this award I don’t know as it should be secure). The car park has a barrier which can easily be walked under. There is plenty of places for people to walk in unobstructed, and even pathways just to walk in. Your car is parked in the back of the car park, which is cornered off by some flimsy metal construction fencing which is left open, and parked very close to other vehicles. There is very limited CCTV which would provide little to no protection for your car and this can be seen from Google Street View. The driver was speeding between the car parks and wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, as per the dash cam.

I had to send back and forth emails to ILMAG customer services. I also spoke to APH customer services. APH customer services advised that although they sold me the product and were ‘partnered’ with ILMAG, it was nothing to do with them.

ILMAG Customer Service were ridiculous and after reading other reviews seems to be common practice. I finally got to a resolution, but it was a very long back and forth process, and required a lot of disputing.
