Morpeth Regular traveller dissatisfied
- We have used the Aph at Newcastle many times and have always been happy but we haven't used it for a couple of years. Transfer to the airport was speedy but the new vans are high off the ground and I am small so I struggled to get in - I realised afterwards that there was a step that could be pulled out but I feel that should be pulled out by the staff - we are paying for a service and it should be a good service.
The collection from the airport on exit was not good - we waited in the freezing cold for over 20 minutes and again the step into the van was an issue. Please Aph remember short and less mobile people and help them by pulling out the step. We discovered that Aph now drives further away to Callerton and there were not enough vehicles being used to allow swift service to and from the car park. We were dissatisfied and are now investigating taxi prices and parking at the nearby hotel. We will probably only use Aph now as a last resort which is a shame as we have always been happy with the service previously.
