The hotel also boasts an excellent restaurant with 2 AA rosettes for food and service.
The bar/lounge is traditional and elegant, serving great aperitifs, wines/champagnes and digestives. Private dining facilities are also available.

"I parked the car in the dark and it took some time to locate it on our return. We had the correct level and colour but like three other customers on the same level took time to find the car. The bays should have numbers on the spaces or even mark the pillars."

"On arrival, I pressed the help button as my number plate was not recognised by your system. The attendant was extremely rude and refused to answer my queries. He then refused to speak with me despite my being corteous and polite throughout. Very disappointing, he should be sacked."

"Although I have use the Short Stay car park for Terminal 1 once before I found that there was little or no signage indicating the entrance. There was also no clear directions in the airport from Terminal 3 (We left from Terminal 1 & returned to Terminal 3) If you did not know Manchester Airport well you could easily get lost!"

"Upon my return i drove my vehicle to the exit barrier and inserted the token provided upon my arrival, the digital readout informed me i had to pay £140, having already pre paid i was astounded and after having to reverse back up the ramp much to the annoyance of other motorists who had to get out of my way i eventually spoke to an operator via the inter com who opened the barrier...not at all impressed."

"Being close to airport is great, but very difficult to rememeber where you have parked - if there could be some system where you are issued a card and you write om where you have parked would be very good, plus very confusing pink, gren, blue at same levels with diferent access - overall took me 30 mins to find my car!"

"The usual short term entry gate was coned off on my arrival and fortunately I knew there is another chance to enter if you drive on through the drop off zone. However, drivers unfamiliar with Terminal 1 short stay may have had difficulty as there was no signage whatsoever to help drivers with alternative entry gates etc."

"Machine wouldnt accept my card for entry. Dealt with relatively quickly. Same thing happened on exit but obviously gate was unmaned and had to wait for nearly ten minutes unaware if we were going to get reponede too. We then became a nuisance to other car park users and were highly embarrased. Shaocking"

"When the access post (where u put your card or collect your ticket) is out of order it would be helpful if you put an 'out of order' notice on it. That way customers won't spend 10mins trying to gain access!"

"There was a slight problem as our car battery was flat when we returned from holiday. We needed to contact to say that we might be late exiting the car park as we were waiting for the AA. The airport information desk said they could not deal with it as we had booked through a third party and there was no answer on the APH telephone line. However there was no problem getting out of the car park. Had there been a real problem there was no-one to deal with it."

"Yes, I often use APH am I have always been satisfied. Unfortuntley on this occasion when I arrived at the short stay multi-story car park at Manchester I was driving round looking for a parking space for 35 minutes. I rang APH who answered promptly and tried to put me through several times to the staff at the car park who did not answer straight away. Eventually when they did they told me to go all the way back down to the ground floor and press the buzzer at the exit barrier. Luckily I found a space on level 2 as someone was leaving. I found this stressful as I had a plane to catch and didnt think it would take me 40 minutes to find a parking space. Driving up and down a full multi storey car park when you have prebooked and prepaid for a space well in advance was very frustrating. I wish had booked the meet and greet service instead."

"Carpark very convenient to the terminal. The only problem we had was on exiting the carpark, when we went to the exit barrier to put your credit card in you've made the booking with it didn't accept it, we then had to press for help and give them the booking code instead. It didn't hold us up for very long, may be 5 minutes at the most."
