"The Hotel had the right to park the car off site and, presumably did so since the heating controls and the radio settings were altered. The volume setting on the radio was so high (more than twice usual) it gave the impression that the car had been used by a teenager to go home in!!"

"A good, functional hotel for a one night stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was little noise. Breakfast was reasonable, even though it was not wildly exciting, at the pre-booked lower rate of just under £10. However, had we not pre-booked on arrival, and then had to pay the higher price at breakfast time the following morning, I think the breakfast would not have been particularly good value."

"Hotel check in was a joke they had us booked in as 2 adults and sent us to a room the other side of the hotel with our luggage only to find a room with a double bed , even though I booked as 2 adults 1 child , so long journey back to reception , while the girl who clearly didn't know what she was doing tried to sort it out , finally a room with a child's bed , this is a hotel at 4.30 in the afternoon ,the corridors where littered with wine bottles , glasses and plates with food on all on the floor , it smelt horrible"

"Check-in was poor. The receptionist initially could not find our booking details and we had to provide a print-out of the transaction. Process took too long and my wife and I were tired after a long drive. Most damning though was the failure of a 04.30 wake-up call which could have had disastrous consequences of a missed flight. The Duty Manager seemed more concerned with finding out what had caused the failure than enabling us to get a speedy transfer to the terminal.I am apparently due and am awaiting a refund for the overnight stay in accordance with Crowne Plaza's T&Cs.I am not confident about hearing from them."

"The hotel and prices were excellent. Only one drawback - I booked a twin room and arrived at 3.00a.m. and was given a double, so took a little time sorting a room out. Could have done without that at that time in the morning, but once sorted the room was very nice."

"I was not happy with the parking arrangements, I have used APH for years but never used this facility before. I was not pleased when I was told my car would be moved from the hotel car park to another location, at no time was I told this by your agent if so I would have booked at my usual Manchester place and got a taxi. I think you should inform people, my car is brand new and I was anxious about this."

"When I contacted your agent, I was informed that the price was £74 (memory) and when I questioned the fact that I required the car to remain on the hotel complex, again, I was informed that this would be ok. At no time was I informed that there would be VAT added to the bill and that I would be charged a further £18 for having my car remain at the hotel. If this was pointed out at the correct time when I made the booking, I would have at least had the opportunity to look at something else. I was only informed that I would have a £1.00 charge added. In light of this, there is obviously a communication break-down as you are advertising the price incorrectly, which I believe is totally unfair and incorrect practise. I would welcome your comments, especially as I have used your service on other occasions and recommended it to others. Kind regards"

"I'm pretty sure we paid APH for a family room but the hotel had no record of this and initially put us in a double room with a 'put-up' bed. Thankfully the staff realised we were unhappy and transferred us to a family room without making a charge. We are very grateful to the Crowne Plaza but disappointed with APH."

"Having booked with APH numerous times over the years and either been able to park my car at the hotel or with APH I was told could not park my car at the hotel unless i paid £2 a night surcharge as idid not want my car driven driven a possible 25 mile round trip i had to pay an extra £26 .After complaining bitterly i was told by the desk manager all long stay were normally taken off site which is a bit different from the advertised " at the hotels descretion"When we have stayed at the BEWLEY parking has been there or APH."

"I was happy with the hotel but not with the parking arrangements. I returned to find that my door had been left open and my battery was flat. the hotel manager said he would ask the car parking manager to ring me but this never happened. My car was also dirtier inside than before I left it. Although the hotel was lovely i will not be using this car service again. I am very dissatisfied."

"yes but i will contact customer services. Having waited 40 mins to be picked up from Terminal 3. We walked to the Hotel with our suitcases. Their telephone number indicated on the bus stop was the wrong number so I was unable to contact the crowne plaza to enquire where the pickup was!."
