The long stay car park at Terminal 2 is an on-airport self-serve car park and is supported by a ten-minute transfer service to the terminal departure building. The car park is a holder of the Park Mark ® Safer Parking award. This ensures your car is secure as the car park has met Police checks to optimise security.

This car park is the ideal choice for passengers who need a longer period of parking at the airport. Once you arrive at the car park you will have the booking details confirmed using Number Plate Recognition system and a token will be provided. Once through the barrier, locate a parking space, unload your luggage and secure your car. Make your way to the transfer bus stands, which are clearly indicated. The transfer time to Terminal 2 is five to ten minutes depending on off or on-peak times. Disabled parking bays are available, please call 0871 310 2200 for details.

On your return, after clearing customs and baggage areas, make your way to the transfer bus stands where you will be taken back to the long stay car park. Locate your car, load your bags and drive to the exit barrier and insert the token. Help buttons are located on the entrance and exit barrier units if you require assistance.

Trailers, transit vans and motorhomes are not permitted on this car park. Vehicle height restrictions apply.

If you have pre-booked your car parking, please note that the notice period for any changes to bookings made is 24-hours prior to departure date. This avoids incurring extra charges.

Directions
Exit M56 at J5, keep left & take 1st exit signposted T2. At roundabout take 2nd exit signposted T2. At next roundabout take 2nd exit signed Long Stay Parking. Keep in right hand lane & at next roundabout continue straight. At T-junction turn right. Turn left at next junction & entrance to T2 Long Stay is directly ahead. Your booking will be recognised by your car number plate, a token will be issued and barrier will rise. If barrier does not rise press help button & quote name & booking ref.

"There are always people on the bus on our return who have not noted where they have parked and therefore have to walk around the car park to locate their vehicle. It may be a good idea to put a note in BOLD letters to remind people to make a note of the bus stop and colour and number of isle where they have left their car. One couple on our bus had been walking around the wrong car park! in the rain at midnight!!! We felt so sorry for them."
