All lounges have flight information screens and you are responsible for catching your flight. You may arrive at the lounge up to 3 hours before your flight time. "I was not very impressed with the food this time."
Miss Privett, Devon, 14 Nov 2013
"In the very early hours of the morning a little more guidance is needed from the person who checks you in"
Mrs Mundy, Warwickshire, 12 Nov 2013
"1) I was unable to book the spa treatment at the time of booking the lounge, so had to do this by phone directly 2) I would prefer a slightly larger range of inclusive hot food to order"
Mr Totty, Kent, 5 Nov 2013
"Surprised and disappointed to find that the hot food mentioned in details was an extra and required further payment. Food available "in price" limited and poor. Very expensive for what was received."
Mr Sharpe, Derbyshire, 14 Oct 2013
"Due to check in desk first choice not opening until 3hrs before departure you cannot get maximum time in lounge"
Mrs Lewis, Derbyshire, 14 Oct 2013
"No problems, very relaxed atmousphere."
Mr Gavigan, Hampshire, 7 Oct 2013
"Whenever we book the Champagne deal, on checking in our voucher is taken away so we have no proof of the deal - then must to return to the reception to claim a 'ticket' for presentation to the bar staff - all of whom are very helpful."
Miss Cooper, Kent, 17 Sep 2013
"Upon arrival the lounge had many dirty tables. I later was informed that this was because of staff not turning up on time. The 2 staff who were there were very overworked but did there best."
Mr Tarr, South Glamorgan, 17 Sep 2013
"It would be helpful to have toilet facilities within the lounge complex rather than having to leave the lounge to find them."
Mr Fee, Essex, 17 Sep 2013
"It was a great way to start our Holiday very relaxed no rushing nice and peaceful"
Mr Jenner, Northamptonshire, 9 Sep 2013
Mrs Mcdermott, Wiltshire, 6 Sep 2013
"A very good service"
Mr Austin, Kent, 25 Aug 2013
"Lounge was a lot busier than we thought and quite small for the volume of people."
Mrs Jeffries, Cwmbran, 15 Aug 2013
"We arrived at check in earlier than required to ensure we had the time to relax in the lounge as we had had a long drive but due to the extremely long time in took to check in with Pegasus airlines we actually only had 30 minutes in the lounge. We were very disappointed with this as the check in queue was not long but extremely slow. We will use the lounge again but we need to make sure we do not fly with Pegasus."
Mrs Maloney, Nottingham, 5 Aug 2013
"Nothing more about the lounge, but I feel that the car parking unit could inform patrons picking up their vehicles, information on road closures in the area. A closure of the M23 sent me on a 27 mile detour which I could have avoided had I known of it"
Mr Adams, East Sussex, 15 Jul 2013
"The booking was made allowing us a glass of champagne, on arrival we were told they did not have any champagne but could have two glasses of Prosecco instead. I refused saying we wanted champagne they then managed to find a bottle. The people behind us were told they didn't have any glasses!!! They has to wait for glasses to arrive. We had booked so they must have expected us poor service to the beginning of our hols."
Mrs Haynes, Staffordshire, 2 Jul 2013
"The complimentary hot dishes appear to have been reduced in size. Maybe the price could include just one drink as people generally will only have one alcohol.ic drink prior to a flight anyway and then allow people to purchase further drinks if required? We left home at 0130 am and were not on an airline that provide proper meals and did not arrive at our destination until mid pm. Service brilliant though"
Mrs Ball, Hampshire, 2 Jul 2013
"No 1 lounge gatwick South seemed unaware of the free glass of champagne offer. They offered us a 'complimentary' glass each. I felt embarrassed at having to ask - there was nothing to indicate the offer on our confirmation. Other than that we were then treated very well nd indeed they brought a half bottle to the table.?"
Mrs Gosling, Kent, 2 Jul 2013
"A very swift and reliable service with pleasant and helpful staff, thank you for making that part our journey effortless."
Mr Mander, Cheshire, 29 Jun 2013
"Didn't use it as last minute alteration to husbands flight(we were flying separately) Did not know until last minute so stayed with him. Won't book again as there was not flexibility on cancelling so wasted my money. This survey does not have ability to take did not use question so please ignore comments it has made me do on a lounge did not visit!"
Mrs Cooper, East Sussex, 25 Jun 2013
"Relaxing way to start a holiday, comfortable seats, great staff, good food & drink. Booked very easily via APH."
Mr Dickenson, West Midlands, 18 Jun 2013
"No magazines in the lounge. Lack of seating availability. Poor selection of food and snacks."
Mr Stevens, Hampshire, 29 May 2013
"Booked lounge to escape from screaming kids but screaming kids allowed in lounge! Was galling that we paid so much for the loung to find that Barclaycard customers could just come and go as they pleased. What would have happened to the paying customers if there had been more delays and the lounge was full?"
Mr Purvis, Essex, 22 May 2013
"I do not Know the lads name but I must say his dress code was immaculate and I did mention it to him"
Mr Davis, Warwickshire, 6 Apr 2013
"a super smooth and relaxing start to a cross world flight"
Miss Smitham, Leicestershire, 26 Mar 2013
"Sevice was good - but it was so crowded. More difficult to find a seat than in general departure lounge. Some people stretched out on sofas so taking up too much room. Some perhaps getting there hours early in order to eat and drink as much as they could. i just wanted a quiet relaxing place with a cup of coffe and a snack - but found it far from relaxing with a general hubub of noise, and people trailing luggage around looking for seats."
Mrs Gibbs, Hampshire, 13 Mar 2013
"Choices of breakfast items available very limited - some items unavailable until late morning"
Mr Goadsby, Hampshire, 8 Mar 2013
"there was no difference in price to booking on line via the airport- chose to book via APH as had car parking with you but no incentive otherwise to do so."
Miss Platts, Leicestershire, 7 Mar 2013
"Food supplied was nowhere near as good as previous experiences and felt that we would not pay for this lounge again"
Mrs Tolley, Kent, 4 Mar 2013
"It was very crowded when I arrived and I couldn't find anywhere to sit for about 15 minutes"
Mrs Mozley, Hampshire, 26 Feb 2013
"Felt lounge was a bit too far away from main section/boarding gates, and a fiddle to get too and from. Especially as it was the first time we had used this lounge."
Mrs Read, Lancashire, 5 Jan 2013
"Difficult to find seats"
Mrs Glenton, East Yorkshire, 4 Jan 2013
"We arrived at the manchester airport in plenty of time to enjoy the lounge but due to the long que at security we only just made the flight which was then delayed. I would appecitate if you could forward my complante to manchester airport and claime my money back please. 16/12/12"
Mrs Pearson, South Yorkshire, 31 Dec 2012
"The Bollin lounge was closed and there was just a note on a pole to say use the lounge along the corridoor! The rewceptionist there as a miserable cow and the facilities were very limited. Apart from that it was great!"
Mr Francis, Lancashire, 12 Dec 2012
"I have used this lounge about 3 years ago. It was cold then AND IT IS STILL COLD. Would not be in a hurry to use this lounge again. It would probably be a nicer experience in the main terminal!!!"
Mr Kerfoot, Lancashire, 11 Dec 2012
"The coffee machines were not working, there was no notice stating that they were not. Hot Water was provided by jugs, but again no notice - trial and error, water was luke warm not hot. The service providers seemed more intent on planning / contacting their friends than attending to the needs of customers. Not friendly environment and feel that money was wasted, very disappointed as when used at Birmingham different experience"
Mrs Smith, Leicestershire, 3 Dec 2012
"We thought that young children were not allowed in lounges. Perhaps this rule could be properly enforced"
Mr Jones, Cheshire, 1 Dec 2012
Mrs Webb, Tyne And Wear, 27 Nov 2012
"Lovely calm atmosphere. Beautifully clean & tidy. Would definitely book again."
Mrs Buckinghamlb, Avon, 20 Nov 2012
"Lounge was very good, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, will definitely use this facility again!"
Mrs Carruthers, Flintshire, 20 Nov 2012
"The selection of snacks was very limited"
Mr Carr, Kent, 8 Nov 2012
"The TV was not working and it was quite noisy that day with a loud group overriding the relaxing environment."
Mrs Pountain, Cleveland, 10 Oct 2012
"The staff were a little, hard to out your finger on it, they said and did all he right things but you had the impression they rather would be somewhere else. Also the croissants/pastries were like bullets - they must have microwaved or something to be that solid"
Mr Champs, Leamington Spa, 8 Oct 2012
"Clean and comfortable< I fell asleep. Very relaxing."
Mr Harris, South Humberside, 22 Sep 2012
"No hot food. Disappointing."
Mr Arch, Staffordshire, 15 Sep 2012
"It would be nice to be able to get a proper meal here as well as the snack service"
Mrs Coleby, Buckinghamshire, 7 Sep 2012
"Very good good facilities and food, comfortable."
Mr Sutton, East Sussex, 5 Sep 2012
"No reduced children price, when they clearly do not get the value of their parents. Also have to book 3 adults when booking on-line as would not accept children. Last time I used this facility I rang APH and this is what she told me to do."
Mr Gee, Berkshire, 2 Sep 2012
"Unfortunately noone explained that we could have ordered hot food from a menu card . This wasn't explained to us by the staff when we booked into the lounge . However we will know if we decide to use it again"
Mrs Hardwick, Devon, 29 Aug 2012
"Lounge was ok, but we were there at 9.30 am, and selection of food / snacks very6 limited, unless you want to pay extra. Also, seating layout is all wrong. There are high back sofas in front of the windows overlooking the runways, so youy cant see anything, and window views from low tables and chairs that overlook a service area...strange set up...."
Mr Sharp, Essex, 24 Aug 2012
