Hotels with Parking & Transfers at Manchester Terminal 1

There are different types of parking packages to choose from when it comes to staying with an airport hotel. There are three main types to choose from, all of which depend on your budget and preference on convenience.

1. Parking at the hotel

If you choose to stay in a hotel before your flight, some have an on-site car park, which you can use for the duration of your trip. For example, staying at the Crowne Plaza Manchester airport hotel will allow you to stay in one of their 4-star rooms and make the most of their car park while you’re away. To do this, just arrive at the hotel and park your car, where it will be safely taken to a secure car park. When it comes to the day of your journey, you take their transfer service to Terminal 1, which is completely free of charge. When you return, you take the same transfer service back to the hotel, where your car will be waiting.

2. Off-Site Secured Parking

An off-site car park allows you to park with the reassuring knowledge that your vehicle will be protected by round-the-clock security. These are particularly useful if the hotel can’t make full-time use of its own car park. The Hilton Manchester Airport, for example, makes use of APH’s secure car park, where you park on the day of your stay, and the transfer service back to the hotel. Conveniently it’s a 24-hour service, that takes only 5-10 minutes and runs every 15-minutes. On the day of your flight, the hotel runs its own transfer service to Terminal 1 completely free of charge. This service runs every 10-minutes, only takes 5-10 minutes, and also provides a 24-hour service. When you return, just take the APH transfer bus service back to the car park to collect your vehicle.

There are a number of off-site car parks available for Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport, and here at APH we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of each one and the timings you can expect for transfer services:

  • APH Car Park: Transfer time 10 minutes, 15-minute frequency, 24-hour operation.
  • JetParks 3: Transfer time 7-9 minutes, 15-minute frequency, 24-hour operation.
  • JetParks 1: Transfer time 5-10 minutes, 15-minute frequency, runs during the airport’s operational hours.
  • Manchester Airport Multi-Storey Terminal 1: 2-5 minute walk from Terminal 1, leave your keys, 24-hour operation.

3. Meet and Greet

Meet & Greet is the ultimate convenience, particularly when you return. It allows you to park directly outside the terminal and pick it up from the same spot when you land. For example, by booking Manchester Airport’s Meet & Greet package, you can use their top-rated service and be just a minute’s walk from the terminal. You follow the signs for the T1 Meet & Greet, and go to the Valet Parking area. Park your car and go to reception, where you will hand over your keys and get a receipt in return. Then, you simply unload your vehicle and head straight for the check-in desks. Your car will be parked securely on Level 13 of the multi-storey car park, which you will go to collect it upon your return, with the help of the Meet & Greet team.
