Whin Lodge, Yetts o' Muckhart GB
We were astonished to find that the menu had not changed in over a year. A hotel such as this should have a menu change every few months plus a number of specials each day. It should also have several real ales on tap.
The staff are always excellent and friendly.
Long stay parking is very easy and just a few metres from the hotel door.
It is a pity the hotel was not closer to the terminal so that the shuttle bus was not necessary. The multi storey car park at the airport is where a hotel should be.
Overall, the hotel is easy, convenient, offering reasonable food and is a pleasant place to stay.

Close to airport but still needs a bus for access.
Staff, room and public areas were excellent, quiet and free of the air con noise of the Hilton.
Dinner: both fish main courses were unavailable and there was just 1 pork medallions which was very poor quality meat.
Breakfast: no fried eggs, doubtful coffee and orange juice.
There seems to be a management problem with the kitchen. This was even worse on our return from holiday when the evening menu was confined to pizza, salad and sandwiches.
We need an Edinburgh airport hotel on 4 nights in the coming ski season but perhaps not in this one.
