- I have used the Meet & Greet Service at East Midlands many times in recent years as we have a holiday home in Spain and I use EMA for speed and convenience. Last Monday evening, 16 April 2018, my daughter and I returned home on the Ryanair flight FR9284 from Alicante, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, handed the keys to my daughter's Ford Kuga car, which was parked about 60 m. away from the office. The car was clean when we parked in M & G the previous Wednesday, 11 April 2018, but we found it to be caked in mud on the driver's side with splash marks up to the windows. There was also mud on the near side wheels and doors. My daughter immediately reported this to the M&G staff at reception and the manager Debbie came to view it, took a photograph and apologised offering to have the car cleaned forthwith. As it was late evening we declined the offer and drove the 75 mins. home. However, this was poor service and should not have happened. The car had been driven about three miles in total and we were told it had been parked up adjacent to a building site at the far end of the airport. In my view the driver should have ensured it was freshly cleaned for us to collect upon our return from Spain. We were handed a pre-prepared letter of apology.
