Every year the UK hosts a huge variety of firework displays to celebrate Bonfire Night. Here’s our guide to some of the best so you don’t miss out.
The Mayor’s Fireworks – London
Where – The three-and-a-half mile stretch between Bank and Aldwych in London will catch you a glimpse of the fireworks.
When – Saturday November 5th at 5.15pm.
Lewes Bonfire – East Sussex
Where – The traditional Lewes Bonfire night celebrations take place through the town’s streets, from Western Road to the main High Street; there will be over 30 processions – this event is not recommend for small children.
When – Saturday November 5th from 5pm with fireworks later in the night.
Roundhay Park – Leeds
Where – Soliders Field within Roundhay Park will play host to a huge fireworks display this year.
When – Friday 4th November from 7.30pm.
Etihad Stadium – Manchester
Where – The Manchester City stadium is hosting a funfair and fireworks display for all residents of Manchester – entry is free.
When – Monday October 31st at 7.30pm – the funfair will run from 5pm to 9.30pm.
Tar Barrels Festival – Devon
Where – This one of a kind bonfire event takes place in Ottery St Mary, East Devon.
When – Saturday November 5th from 7pm.
River of Light – Liverpool
Where – Enjoy this spectacular show from either side of the River Mersey.
When – Saturday November 5th at 6.30pm.
Skinninggrove Bonfire – Yorkshire
Where – Set in the small village of Skinningrove in North Yorkshire, this unique display is set around a different theme each year and is one unlike any other in the UK.
When – Saturday November 5th at 6.30pm – fireworks begin at 7.30pm.
Glasgow Green – Glasgow
Where – Glasgow Green in the city centre will be hosting its biggest and best fireworks display – completely free to all.
