Southampton Port is a major passenger and cargo port. With direct access to and from major motorways and its good rail links, the port is one of the busiest cruise and cargo terminals in the country. Also of importance is its location; just 100 nautical miles from mainland Europe, and links  Britain to over 70 international destinations.

There are 4 cruise terminals at Southampton Port: Ocean Terminal, City Terminal, Mayflower Terminal and Queen Elizabeth II Terminal.  Main companies currently using the port are Cunard, Royal Caribbean, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises; as well as smaller companies such as Saga Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Crystal Cruises amongst others.

Southampton Port is only 75 miles from London and if you are driving from London and the Home Counties, the M3, M27 and A34 motorways are the direct links into Southampton. From the West Country, Bristol and Wales, the A36 is the major route in. From the East you will have to take the A27/M27 motorways.
