Terminal 1 & 3 Long Stay at Manchester (MAN)

address Manchester Airport (MAN), Manchester, M90 3NS.

The Terminals 1 & 3 Long Stay car park is self-serve facility with a five-minute transfer service to the check-in desks. The car park is also a holder of the Park Mark ® Safer Parking award for added security and peace of mind.

Why choose Manchester Airport Terminal 1 & 3 Long Stay

This car park offers great prices for those booking longer periods of parking at Manchester airport.

The parking procedure is simple and straightforward. Drive to the car park entrance where you’ll be recognised by your car’s numberplate. An exit token will be provided and the entry barrier will lift. Once you’ve parked, grab your bags and make your way to the clearly marked transfer bus stands. The journey time to Terminals 1 and 3 is around five minutes – but please allow a little extra time during peak hours.

On your return, make your way to the transfer bus stands and take the short trip back to the car park. Locate your car, load your bags and drive to the barrier where you’ll be asked to insert the exit token issued on your arrival. Help buttons are located on the entrance and exit barriers if you require any assistance.

If booking within 48 hours of departure, or if you do not have the same credit/debit card used to make the booking, you should take an entry ticket from the barrier as you arrive. On your return, head to the exit, press the help button and quote your APH.com confirmation number.

The instructions for the car park entrance need amending not as stated as the sign approaching round about says terminal 3 only parking, the exit for 1 & 2 long stay parking is 2nd left not first and the SAT NAV post code is for short stay.

Much easier to be able to walk from arrivals terminal to car instead of waiting for one of the buses. Only a couple of quid more too.

On arrival to the car park we didn't find any indication of an empty space or a car park attendant to show one to us, so we had to drive around the car park for a long time trying to find a parking space. As a result, we were late for security check and eventually late for boarding. We had to pay £130 to be put on the next available flight which was two days later. We phoned to car park customer services asking to extend our booking, but they said 'No, once you leave the car park - you lose your booking'. That's another £44 lost. What a nightmare! Never again, that's for sure.

T3 long stay is only a short walk to terminal... if there's no bus in sight, it's probably quicker to walk, especially on return to UK, as the bus goes via T1 before returning to carpark.

I prebooked and paid in advance.
On departure I inserted the supplied token to open the barrier and was asked to pay £110.
Thankfully the helpful guy at the other end of the intercom got it sorted for me.

Wolverhampton GB Im pleased with outcome
Great parking experience, found car park no problem, found space quite quickly, bus came as we pulled cases from car boot, driver waited patiently whilst we loaded and seated, drive to airport literally few minutes. Dropped off right outside departures. What more could you want. Great service. Good clean secure car park. Noticed police cars on verges just outside car park on way out. Hopefully keeping things in check.
