Ticket machines are located throughout the car park and you can make payments through the machines. You will then be supplied with an exit barrier ticket. If you pre-booked your car parking space then your entrance ticket will need to be validated by entering it into the machine.

Exit M4 J4. Follow signs for Terminals 1, 2 & 3 (this will take you down the Heathrow Spur Road). Keep in left lane & turn left at traffic lights (at the roundabout following the sign for A4 to Central London). Go up the hill & turn left just before 1st set of lights, you will see the Park Inn Hotel on your left. Follow the signs round the side of the hotel. Turn left over the bridge. Car park is directly in front of you.

On the phone booking, I had been asked what time our flight arrived but on trying to exit the carpark I was asked to pay an additional £18 as the exit time was 19.50 rather than 18.40(the landing time).
