Despite pre-payment for the entire duration, at time of exit our account was not recognised by the ticket machine and we had to visit the office to get authorisation to leave. Apparently many customers were experiencing similar problems due to the credit details being transfered to the car park system. This is a concern and needs investigation to clear this problem.

Car is is in a great location. We had a few problems getting into the car park with the entry barrier not giving us a ticket but we pressed for one and upon leaving spoke to customer service had the ticket validated and left. Customer service very easy to find. Would use the service again. Great service :-)

I use the service 3 or 4 times every year. In February,2015, I paid £48 for one week and on this latest occasion I paid £90. I find it difficult to comprehend the massive disparity in these prices. On my arrival at the car park the vehicle index mark recognition system failed to work although I had pre-booked for my stay. I took my booking confirmation to the office but was told that I would need to bring this confirmation back to the office when I departed from the car park on 13th June, 2015. I duly did this but was delayed further at the office whist the receptionist took copies of my booking confirmation. I was not offered any apology or explanation for the problems I encountered.

But AHT were very helpful in contacting the AA when my car would not start on my return. Just a minor fault, soon rectified, and we were on our way.

It was good, in that it was easy to park and the pick-up and delivery was reasonably prompt. The only quibble was the lack of clarity about whether or not the ticket I had been issued with would work at the exit barrier, or if I had to stop and present the ticket and the documents at the Reception Office. The receptionist didn't seem clear either - because I'd booked through an agency rather than direct with Gatwick Parking. As it happened, the ticket worked fine automatically - but you must make the guidance clearer. The information I'd printed off stated that I had to stop and report to the Reception Office, which was unnecessary.

I would recommend and use again, however, when we arrived at car park, they was some computer error and they didn't have our booking, even though I had the printed confirmation of it. It did panic me a bit, but staff very helpful and sorted. I felt we had to wait a few more minutes than expected for the buses to/from airport, but I am a very nervous flyer, so I think that contributed to me feeling anxious.

The bus to the airport at 3am in the morning was fine but coming back, at approaching 2am, we could not get onto the first bus as it was too full and had to wait for a second bus which wastes a significant amount of time. This bus was also so full it was dangerous moving the luggage around. It would have been extremely dangerous and difficult for anyone not completely stable on their feet. We have used this service several times in the past but this has really put me off using it again. You really need to put on more buses at busy times.
