"Double charging for the parking period and the real hassle involved in getting a refund from the airport authority who remained extremely elusive. It took a series of phone calls extending to over two hours over a period of three days to eventually find the person responsible for allowing a refund to take place. even then the effort required is substantial, involving scanning of booking and payment documents, and even now success is not guatanteed."

"Excellent service, had it not been for the fact that, on exiting the barrier at Durham Tees Valley, my Debit card (used for making the APH reservation) was charged me twice the price again, which was somewhat of a surprise. I understand that this will now be refunded by airport services, but your instructions for exiting the car park (followed 100%)should be amended to take account of a different system in place at Durham Tees Valley Airport, of which I was unaware."

"When I arrived and inserted my card the barrier didn't rise. I tried again and it issued a ticket which I took and the barrier rose. I was concerned that I would then be charged twice (I had prepaid)so phoned the Duty Manager in the airport. He said I should ignore the instructions to insert my card on departure and advised me to press the help button on the barrier and quote my booking reference. I followed his advice and exited the car park without a problem. It was annoying that the entry procedure didn't work (it was fine last time I travellled) but as there is only one car park at Durham Tees Valley I guess I will be using it again!"

"No information on entry to car park as to what to do as we had pre-paid. I believe your instructions said to insert payment card - if so this is wrong as there is no facility to do this. In practise, we took a new payment card on entry to car park, and on exit pressed the help button, said we had prepaid and gave ref number. This worked OK - a shame neither your nor the airport told us this was how it was supposed to work"
