Heathrow – Britain's biggest Wi-Fi hotspot

If you are using Heathrow's new Terminal 5 over the coming months, you'll probably be interested to hear that it is now the UK's biggest Wi-Fi hotspot, meaning that wherever you are in the terminal, you can use your laptop and connect to the internet at pretty high speeds.
The wireless connectivity covers a space the size of 50 football pitches, and is provided by UK mobile phone operator, T-Mobile. If you are a T-Mobile customer, you get a free high speed connection, that's five times faster than the 8Mbps available to non-T-Mobile customers.
Those not on the T-Mobile network are asked to pay £5 an hour or £10 for the whole day – worth it if you forgot to tell your neighbour to water the plants or feed the cat.
