Check in to fly out at London City Airport
2008-04-22
If finding a kiosk is always good news for Superman it should be great news for time-hungry passengers demanding a speedy check-in process at London's City Aiport.
That’s because the airport has installed 12 new self service check-in kiosks to help quicken the process. The kiosks will be open from early May and will enable passengers to check themselves onto flights with airlines including VLM, KLM and Swiss.
Melanie Burnley is general manager of customer services and security at the airport. She has overseen the installation of the system and said: “The majority of passengers at London City Airport are frequent fliers who will appreciate the time saving that this technology offers. By speeding-up the overall time spent at the airport, business travellers are able to commute with further ease to their final destination.
“We are keen to continue to offer the fastest and most efficient service that passengers using London City Airport have come to expect.”
