Turmoil Over Terminals

Airport Parking and Hotels, the long stay parking specialist has added information to the ‘Know Before You Go’ section of its website www.aph.com regarding which airlines are now flying from which terminal. As British Airways takes over Terminal Five and Terminal Two gets ready for a major overhaul which flights go from which terminal is becoming a confusing issue.

As a further 20% of British Airways flights move to Terminal Five at the end of April the other terminals will be undergoing a major switch around as many airlines switch homes. By logging on to www.aph.com/news/terminalturmoil, travellers can find out the changes to the various terminals and the dates in which the moves they take place.

The majority of One World carriers will move into Terminal Three on 17th September alongside the 10% of BA’s flights that won’t operate out of Terminal Five.

Terminal One will become home to the Star Alliance members with 18 airlines operating out of the terminal. All carriers will have moved from Terminal Two by November.

Terminal Two will be demolished to make space for Heathrow East which is scheduled to open in 2012.

Airport Parking and Hotels Ltd has over 20 years’ experience as a retailer of pre-booked airport parking. It offers parking at 18 UK airports, ports and Eurotunnel terminals plus airport hotels packaged with parking, airport lounges, travel insurance, car hire and holiday taxis.
