APH Predicts Bumper Ski Season and Gears Up with New Initiatives on aph.com

Airport Parking and Hotels (APH) is expecting a record number of parking and hotel bookings this ski season. For many years, skiers and snowboarders have been an important market for APH at its three airport car parks at Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester. This year the signs are that bookings for the season are earlier and higher than ever.

APH has geared up for the onslaught of the ski market by launching a series of new initiatives specifically targeting the winter sports enthusiast. The company has tied up with Ultimate-Ski.com, the ultimate online guide to ski resorts across Europe and North America as well as launching a fortnightly newsletter for skiers, snowboarders and dedicated aprs-skiers. Following on the success of last year - pre-bookable ski extras have also been expanded on the website.

All initiatives are part of APHs continued commitment to ensuring todays independent travellers have the information needed to plan, pre-book and save to ensure their holiday gets off to a flying start.

More than 100,000 skiers and snowboarders pass through APHs car parks each season and this number is expected to grow as reports of a bumper ski season during 2006/7, so this extra information could not have come at a better time for travellers.

Ski information on the site includes:

Ultimate-Ski - APH has partnered up with ski and snowboard site, www.ultimate-ski.com to offer visitors to www.aph.com the answers to all their winter sports questions. The site will link to www.aph.com through APH's summary resort guides which launch soon, designed to whet skiers and snowboarders appetites.
