Of course, there are charges for these services. For example the seats together and Your Seat, Your Choice service starts at £12 per person, return. And a priority seat selection service costs £6 per passenger per flight. And, should you wish, you can really plan ahead and book this up to 98 days in advance! The extra legroom will cost £23.50, upwards.
And they have what is described as the UKs first internet check-in facility (you can still check in at the airport). Online check-in is currently available for flights from Gatwick, Stansted, Leeds/Bradford, Bristol, Belfast and Newcastle and it will be rolled out to other airports in the near future. Just follow the instructions on the website and you could turn your holiday into, well, a real holiday!
Customer services director Joanna Wild is quoted as saying: “We’re always looking at ways we can give our holidaymakers more control over their booking and this innovation gives people the freedom to chose where they sit as well as making the airport experience a quick and easy one.
“We’re really proud that we’re the first to offer this to charter passengers and look forward to rolling it out to our full flying programme soon.”
