New Flights from Yorkshire
Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster Sheffield, is the UK's newest purpose-built airport. It is just seven miles from Doncaster and 25 miles from Sheffield and is constructed on the former RAF Finningley airbase. Easyjet have just announced that they are to start commercial operations from the airport. A spokesman for Easyjet said: “We are proud to announce flights from a brand new base in the UK – Doncaster Sheffield!”
Initial destinations announced are: Amsterdam from £24.99, Barcelona from £24.99, Faro from £26.99, Majorca (Palma) from £26.99 and Prague from £26.99. Flights are on sale now and the flights will commence from the 19 April 2010. All prices quoted are single including tax.
