Stansted is one of BAA's seven airports, and the fourth busiest in the UK. As well as being one of the fastest-growing airports in Europe, it is also a major hub for low-cost scheduled airlines. Stansted is located about 30 miles to the north-east of London, next to junction 8 on the M11 motorway. If you are coming from the North or Midlands, access is by the A1 and A14. The A14 joins the M11 at junction 14.
