"My only dissatisfaction with my room was that it was uncomfortably hot. As the heat was generated from the pipes feeding the radiator, which was turned off, there was no way to resolve the problem. Also the supply of teabags had not been replenished and there was only one teabag."

"The ground floor room we were originally given was very small - side of double bed pushed up against a wall. Carpet around the bed was stained and dirty and had not been vacuumed. Fixtures were very shabby. We were given a twin room on the second floor which was slightly larger but was still shabby and dirty. We will definitely never use this hotel or any in the chain again. We think that APH should drop the hotel until significant modernization has been carried out. It was the first time we have used Newcastle airport. We will use other hotels next time."

"I reserved a room with twin beds but when we arrived, very tired , at 2am, the room had a double bed. It was rectified very quickly by the very helpful receptionist. I would have appreciated a shuttle service from the airport."
