"Overall very happy with the service apart from being woken up at 11pm then again at 3.30am from the ajoining room, then if that wasn't enough our room phone rang at 3.45am to ask 'if we were up yet' yet again from the ajoining room next door, NOT IMPRESSED. I know this wasn't the hotels fault and that was the reason we didn't report it to reception the next morning."

"Hotel very good but they did not have my reservation when I arrived. Aparantly you had not forwarded my details Which could have been a problem at busy times. Hotel transfers and parking as I would expect for the price paid."

"room heating not working properly bathroom was freezing went without a shower. spare duvet was soiled. transfer from terminal to hotel took half an hour to arrive then was given incorrect location for my car by aph staff. wasted another half an hour searching for my car with baggage in tow"

"When we arrived at the Hotel, they did not have details of our reservation but fortunately we had the APH e-mail confirmation printout of the booking from which they took a photocopy and a room was was made available for us. It was fortunate that they had a room available. We were then advised that there was no need to book for dinner but just go down. This was clearly not the case and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. What was extremely distubing was that on arriving back from our holiday we tried to contact the hotel by using the courtesy phone as instructed. No one was answering the phone and it took more than 5 minutes to get an answer. We advised the hotel of our Terminal and were told to go to the Bus Stop F and the Hilton Shuttle Bus would be along shortly. There we waited and waited along with another couple who had also phoned the hotel and had been informed that the Shuttle Bus was on its way. After a further 30 minutes we telephoned the hotel again on the humber located by the Bus Stop. It was very difficult to get an answer but finally a different receptionist said she would send the bus immediately. We were phoning the Hilton yet again when 20 minutes later the Shuttle Bus arrived. (the Hotel is only a very short distance from the terminal) On explaining to the driver of the delay, he was very apologetic but had no idea that we were waiting! He obviously had not received the information that 4 passengers were waiting for a pickup. The temperature was 4 deg C and we were all very cold. We shall use the APH service again but we will certainly not be booking a stay at this hotel."
