Redditch Experienced traveller
- We can honestly say this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Service in the restaurant was appallingly bad - we waited 50 mins to be served our starter of pate and a bread selection, (despite being repeatedly told that it was coming) we both ordered steaks for a main course and my husband sent his back after one bite as it had so much fat and gristle it was disgusting. He declined anything further so disgusted by this stage and the restaurant server kindly deducted it off our bill like she was making a huge concession rather than it was totally inedible. As for the room - we expected basic but not pipes that tapped all night long making sleep impossible - it sounded like the mice were using morse code - obviously as desperate as we were to get out of there! As for safety of our car - we parked it in the long stay car park but there was nothing to stop anyone driving away with it as the barrier was permanently up and it was obvious that no-one would've taken any notice. Truly a horrific experience and not one we will ever repeat if we have to fly from Manchester again.
