Menzies Strathmore Hotel Luton
Following a major refurbishment programme the Menzies Strathmore Hotel in the centre of Luton has received four star recognition from the AA positioning it as the only four star hotel in Luton.
The hotel, formerly known as the Thistle Luton Hotel, was acquired by Menzies Hotels last August. Since the change of ownership the hotel has undergone a major capital investment project which has included; refurbishment of all the public areas, creation of a new contemporary brasserie restaurant and lounge area and the refurbishment of a number of bedrooms.
The facilities at the hotel include; 152 bedrooms, a banqueting suite which can sit 200 guests, four dedicated meeting rooms, a new brasserie restaurant and cocktail bar and a Waves health and leisure club.
The hotel is owned by Menzies Hotels, one of the UK's leading independent hotel groups with 17 quality three and four star hotels throughout England and Scotland.
