Quality Hotel

"Didn't like large ad on TV remote stand on very small table. Large ad was for 'hot' adult videos. I would have appreciated the space by the bedside more and thought this was insensitive."

Hilton Edinburgh Airport

"The only problem was the transfer to the terminal for which we had paid a small fee of £2. My wife and I had a Ryanair flight to Gothenburg at 6.20am with a final arrival time at the departure gate of 5.50am. Along with a dozen or so others, we waited for a minibus for half an hour from 5am for a transfer of no more than five minutes. It never did come before the hotel got their own transport out. We were then faced with a long queue at security. Fortunately the lady on Fast Track did take us through. Then, in my haste to get to the departure gate, I forgot to pick up my mobile phone out of the tray. This was a nuisance when I arrived in Gothenburg (my son rang Edinburgh and they had found it and I recovered it on my return for a fee of £7.50!)The Ryanair gate was one of the furthest and we arrived at 5.48am just 2 minutes befor the gate closed. I would use the hotel again provided I was reassured that the Hilton hotel were able to guarantee the transfer arrangements with the inappropriately named "Flying Scot" airport shuttle would opewrate effectively."
