APH compares the cost of travelling with surf equipment

In the summer, many surfing enthusiasts travel abroad to catch some waves. Airport Parking and Hotels (APH) has compiled a comprehensive guide to surf luggage allowance and charges implemented by airlines in order to help travellers plan ahead.

The table highlights the checked-in free baggage allowance on short and long haul flights as well as any added cost of transporting surf and windsurfing equipment. It also outlines the allowed weight for each bag and any restrictions that are imposed
